Clovis the Caribou Hunters, a bilingual travelling exhibition, is showing from June 1 to Aug. 31 at the Fort la Reine Museum. It tells the story of the Clovis people, believed to be the earliest inhabitants of the Americas, including the Portage area.

Cathy Kozak, a member of a tour group from Winnipeg, was one of the first to see the display on opening day. “I’m so amazed we can put this on never mind even being able to tough it,” she said upon being invited to try on the caribou clothing. “This is beyond awesome.”
