CMHA Central is facing off against mental health on Sept. 15 with a street hockey tournament at the BDO Centre.

Face Off for Mental Health is a street hockey tournament fundraiser for adults and youth designed to entertain, be a lot of fun and most importantly, help raise needed funds to treat mental health in our communities.

Face Off for Mental Health is a day of street hockey, food, skills competition, entertainment and prizes!

The adult division is for players aged 16 and up and youth aged 10-15 – up to seven players aside. Prizes are awarded for most funds raised, division winners, skills competition, team spirit and more, say organizers.

CMHA has opened registration and offers an early bird fee for teams registering prior to Aug. 17. Adult registration fee is $180 ($150 early bird) and $125 for youth ($100 early bird).

CMHA operators are standing by to help teams register and organize to gain pledges. That’s the business end. After that, it’s all about the fun and winning prizes while helping support CMHA’s work in Portage la Prairie.
