When the gates open at noon Saturday Whoop & Hollar Folk Fest organizers say a magical experience will unfold blending music, culture, nature and art.
Now in its sixth year, the Whoop & Hollar organizers Linda and Mitchell Omichinski and Josh Wright have continued to expand, improve upon the basics and extras that make the ever improving folk festival special on many levels.
“Above an expanded lineup playing on the main stage and in our Harlequin Hangout (an intimate red barn, actually) we are always working on the atmosphere,” says Linda.”
“What is a folk festival if not atmosphere,” adds Wright.
A yoga workshop is scheduled, an interactive art station for all ages and artistic abilities, returns. The festival is taking steps in reducing its carbon footprint. Visit the website for details.
