October 19th and 20th are dates to mark on your calendar. Happening at the Glesby Centre is the Prairie Ripples 10th Annual Art & Crafts Sale open Friday from 5 to 9 pm and Saturday from 10 am to 4 pm.
Not only will there be the local artists you know and love, but also some outside vendors, many who come to the sale every year.
There will be pottery, paintings, jewellery, fibre art, mixed media, barn wood creations, stained glass, photographs, wood carvings… a little something for everyone.
It is a great chance to acquire not only Christmas gifts for special people in your life, but also the chance to treat yourself to a beautiful work of art. You can talk to the artist about their work, and perhaps even commission an extra special piece.
