The third annual Made in Manitoba Expo held by the Portage la Prairie and District Chamber of Commerce in the MNP Exhibition Building on Saturday was more than local success.
The Made in Manitoba Expo is designed to draw consumer attention to products they may not have been aware of that are made in Manitoba. Over 30 vendors set up temporary stores in the MNP building that was busy from when the doors opened at 11 a.m.
A casual head count could be as high as several thousand visitors to the expo who came to learn more about local products and to shop. Attendance bodes well for organizers to think about Made in Manitoba Expo 2020.
