Celebrating 40 years of building confidence and leadership skills in Portage la Prairie in April, Portage Toastmasters is actively seeking new members.
The longest-serving local Toastmasters club, the group meets every Tuesday from 7 to 8:30 p.m.
“Toastmasters is a worldwide organization that teaches leadership skills, communication and self-confidence. It is the least expensive and effective personal development program on the market,” says President Linda Ducharme.
“We encourage everyone to come and check out the club and see what it can do for you. We meet at the Rotary Park housing main dining room every Tuesday from 7 to 8:30 p.m. We will make you very welcome. Grab a friend and drop in for a visit at 80 – 9th Street SE, at the east end of Countess Ave. Free parking, good company, fun, friendly people.”
