Vintage Cruiser Car Club show takes over Island Park

All that was shiny or soon to be was on display Sunday at the 2019 Cruisin’ the Island Car Show.

Maybe not everything was shiny — there were a few items scattered amongst the 150 plus registered participants that were better shown “au naturel”. But the majority of car buffs who brought their passion for wheels to the park for the annual show had everything in shiny shape.

Cruisin’ the Island is a premiere Vintage Cruiser Car Club event and even the weather Sunday didn’t disappoint.

Clifford and Ellen Sawchuck’s 1928 hotrod was an attention getter.
