The popular Saturday afternoon gatherings for acoustic musicians, magicians, poets, comedians and other entertainers returns Oct. 5 to the Portage La Prairie Regional Library.

This is the third season for the 1st Saturday Coffee House at the library and organizer Tom Howe says he is pleased with its acceptance in the community.

“This is very casual, fun and a place where all local talent fits in. You know you have the open mics at other venues, but this is all acoustic and very much for all ages and abilities. Just come out and enjoy yourself,” he said.

Leading up to the Oct. 5 1st Saturday Coffee House, the library is calling all performers. “If you have a talent that you would like to share – now’s the time to shine in the ‘spotlight.”
The Coffee House is on Saturday, Oct.r 5, from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.
Sign up on the performance roster on Coffee House Day.
All ages are welcome to participate or be in the audience for this free event!
