There’s no denying the massive changes our world has undergone in the last few months. The pandemic is an unprecedented situation, and there is much uncertainty surrounding our community as we continue to adapt to our new normal.

Our facility has been quiet due to closure. Some of our staff have returned to work this week, based on the government’s gradual multi-step approach to re-opening. Yet though we occupy the building, it remains empty without our many classes, performances, exhibits, artists and community members filling our halls with the rich sound of laughter, music and creativity. We’ve worked on postponements and cancellations with numerous artists, instructors, and organizations who would typically be in our theatre, classrooms and galleries to present shows, festivals, dance recitals and meetings. We miss all the joy that comes from sharing these beautiful experiences.

We look forward to when we can fully re-open our doors, filling our building with creativity and inspiration. We understand many of our students and artists have been affected by class or exhibit cancellations or not being able to perform on our stage for their loved ones. We feel deeply for those students, families and friends, and share in the disappointment of these missed opportunities.

We are looking to our community for support and ask for your help in maintaining our place as a vibrant jewel in the Central Region. Our organization’s income relies on classes, rentals and ticket sales, all of which have been terminated due to the pandemic. If you are able to make a gift by donation or sponsorship, we ask you to consider our organization so we can come out of this stronger than ever, thanks to your generosity.

Your support will make a difference for PFAE and will be greatly appreciated. We wish you and your loved ones good health and strength as we continue to navigate these uncertain times.
