Whoop & Hollar launches second open mic season Friday at the Portage Legion

Whoop & Hollar Folk Festival Open Mic & Jam Nights begin Nov. 30 at the Legion.

In partnership with Badlands Promotions, Royal Canadian Legion Branch #65, Sawmill Tea + Coffee Co. and Visions of Independence Inc., Whoop & Hollar Folk Festival kicks off its second season of Open Mic & Jam Night starting at 7 p.m.

Want to perform

Artists interested in performing at the open mic are encouraged to arrive at least 15 minutes before the showtime to register and will be selected on a first come-first served basis. If you are a performer (either local, visiting, or touring) and would like to host the open mic, please email info@whoopandhollar.com for more information.

Anyone wanting to participate in the jam session or attend as an audience member can arrive at any time between 7 – 11 p.m.

Whoop & Hollar Folk Festival Open Mic & Jam Nights are held the last Friday of each month from November to April with the exception of December at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #65 at 275 Duke Ave.
