RCMP ask for help in identifying hit and run suspects

RCMP carPortage la Prairie RCMP is asking for the publics’ help in locating the suspects involved in a collision on Nove. 26 at an intersection in Portage la Prairie.

On Nov. 26, at around 9:45 pm, Portage la Prairie RCMP was notified that a vehicle had hit the traffic control device at the corner of Saskatchewan Ave. W. and 8 St. NW. The vehicle involved did not stay at the accident scene or report this incident to the police.

Information received by police indicates two males exited the vehicle after striking the traffic device, got back into the vehicle and left. The vehicle is described as a dark coloured Chevy S10 pickup truck. The cost of the repairs to this device is in excess of $30,000.
