The Portage Terriers have acquired F Jack Oleksiuk (02) from the Winnipeg Blues in exchange for Future Considerations.

The Winnipeg product played 58 games last season as a rookie for his hometown team putting up 25 points (9G 16A). Oleksiuk (5’9”, 154lbs) was originally drafted 46 overall in the 2017 MJHL Bantam draft by the Dauphin Kings.

Terrier head coach and GM Blake Spiller describes him as a “hardworking, skilled forward”. Oleksiuk took part in the Portage Terrier training camp.
