The Terriers’ front office this week released information about how it will try to skate into the 2021-22 season which includes a hand up from its nearly 200 season ticket holders.
“Thank you for supporting the Portage Terriers through what has been a challenging couple of seasons. It’s been almost a calendar year since our playoffs were cancelled against the Dauphin Kings and four months since our 2020-21 season was shut down,” said Portage Terriers Marketing Director Cody Buhler, in a press release.
“There are a couple of options for people who bought season tickets in the 2020-21 season. First of all, we would really appreciate it if season ticket holders would donate the value of your season tickets to the Terriers. This greatly supports the team and will help us a lot next season. Everyone who donates their remaining ticket value back to the team will be entered into a draw for a prize pack worth $1,000! With less than 200 season ticket holders, your odds of winning are quite good.”
The winner will get to choose one of three options. These are: (2) 2021-22 season tickets + $400 Terrier store credit; (2) 2021-22 season tickets + four entries into the annual Geno Romanow Par 3 Challenge and finally, (2) 2021-22 season tickets plus half a table at our next Terrier Sportsman’s Dinner.
Ticket holders who do not wish to donate their ticket value back to the team will be able to receive a partial credit on their account for next season.
If you would like to donate your tickets back to the team or would like to learn more about the credit, please email or call Cody Buhler at (204) 871-1162.
